It has been awhile.

It has been a busy week. Isn’t it that way every week? [grin] Last week Hannah officially turned seven. Wow, I really am getting older. I took some photos of her and caught a few of the other kiddos as well. I also took some of a friend of ours. Lots of fun. I’ll try to post some photos in the next few days.

We also went to Hutchinson, Ks to the Cosmosphere. Very cool place to visit. Highly recommend it. The kids watched Dr. Goddard shoot off a rocket. We watched a film in the imax theater about the moon-awesome! Plus saw a lot of space artifacts, learned some history and saw some cool planes. If you want to know what kind they were, please ask Matheau. I don’t have any idea. 🙂 Plus, Matheau got his stent out! Woohoo!!! On his way to total recovery now.

Oh, also had a ladies night out last Thursday evening. I had a great time connecting with some ladies-cool ladies-on a new level regarding our walks with Christ. That for me, “pumps my blood” as Pastor Joe would say.

And Sunday, Hannah met with Pastor Joe about baptism. He had her draw a picture about one of her birthday gifts she received for her birthday. After she did, he went on to explain that baptism is like her picture. He wasn’t at her party and didn’t see her gifts. But the picture, like being baptised, showed others that she had accepted Christ into her heart and that she understands and desires to obey God. Also that it is a picture of Christ’s death and resurrection and that Jesus did it to be an example to us. It was a humbling time. To watch her talk with someone else regarding her faith. She has been wanting to take this step for a long time. It has been her reminding us of the desire, her talking with Pastor Joe. Not us. An exciting time for Matheau and I.

Well, I could go on, but I’ll save it for some photos. I can’t wait to show you Luke’s new pet. [grin]
