hannah_turtle_bag_3.jpgreg_mini_bk_chipbrd.jpgThis weekend, September 23, I am going to be hosting a crop at the F&M Community Building. Please feel free to email or call for more information! There will be some free make and takes, digital classes and a few classes for a minimal fee. Plus a sale and lots of time to catch up, or begin planning for Christmas. Hopefully I will see some of you there. Here are a few pages from my board book album and REDdiva.biz August Project Kit. You can find more at REDdiva.biz! Thank you. This has been one of my favorite projects to work with. I’m using a 7gypsies board book. I just used an exacto knife to cut the “pages” different lengths. I used lots of rub ons on this project too. Always fun.A Mother’s Day Bookmark using a 7gypsies aged tag (one from the 8in the Father’s Day Project Kit-see the {i see red} category. And thepaper and ribbon are from the July project kit. I also used fontwerksstamps, colorbox ink, a Heidi Swapp journaling spot to hinge thephotos together. To put the “mini photo book” together. I used cleartabs to adhere photos together, and stitched along the edge whereI folded the journaling spot overthe photos. Flower is from Prima, clear jewels from Heidi Swapp.I have made a couple of these home/family albums using 7gypsies small tag books. For this one I used Crate paper and Tim Holtz ink along with some paint. Thestickers are also 7gypsies. To draw the lines for journaling, I just used a rulerand would purposely offset the lines a bit as I went. I used a brown marker soblack pen could be read easily. The ribbon is from May Arts.I cut the frames out of chipboard and then adhered the Daisy D’s paper.Instead of just cutting the paper to size I folded it behind the frame and glueddown. I added some May Arts ribbons and Prima Flowers, a few buttons andHeidi Swapp chipboard circles. It is hard to see from the photo, but the circlehas a cut-out “l” for luke and the center of the flower on Elizabeth’s frame isan “e” I covered with more paper.Simple card using a photo of my tulips this spring.Made for an amazing gal with amazing talent.I have had this candle (bucket) and block for a long time. I used scraps ofsome of my BasicGrey papers. The “e” circle is from Heidi Swapp’s chip-board alphas. This is created on top of an old license plate.A card I made. The inside says “Found it-You” and I have a couplemore flowers there.A small chipboard book using Chilli’s coasters for the cover/backcover.Idea from time with friends at CKC. :)Other supplies: Cherry Artes patterned paper, Bazzill cardstock,7 Gypsies photo turns, misc. rub ons, date stamp (wal-mart)Stamps from Hero Arts, Heidi Swapp chipboard alpha, TimHoltz ink, ribbon, staples… I had Luke write his own name on cover. This isn’t all of it, just enough to give you an idea of how it looks.I have a confession to make. This is my first traditional 12×12 scrapbook page. I have always scrapped 8.5×11 or mini book size. When I scrapped digitally, I created the layouts 12×12, but never printed any of them out that size. I liked it so much, I think I am going to do it again. Especially with Fancy Pants Designs Biggest Chipboard EVER!!! 🙂 Totally helped me to give it a try.
