Slowing down for a day.
I feel like most days are jam-packed from 6 am on. With Thanksgiving almost here, and any Christmas presents to finish, (that is a good thing-a real excuse to sew, knit and crochet) and Mat’s schedule even busier then normal, life has seemed a bit out of control at times. Today I had no classes to teach and it was a short school day since the kid’s cousin, Isaiah, came over to play. Since it was a special day, we decided to make a trip to visit the kid’s Great Grandma.
Hannah made her first peach cobbler to take along with us. Grandma made some lunch to share. We ate and chatted and had a great time. On the way home we found some bittersweet along the road. A bonus to a wonderful morning. 🙂 A wonderful intermission.

I love bitter sweet. It is such a fun piece. I used to get some and put on the secretary. I love the red and orange and vine. Have a great time each time you look at it. It was one of those things that brought a smile to my face each and every time I looked at it. God’s wonderous creations and free for the taking and enjoying.
Love,
Donna
