Lately Allison and Lizzie are playing really well together. Dress up, doll houses, stuffed animals…. any way, Walmart had a couple of wigs on sale that we purchased last week. The wig is full enough to work as a hat as well. 🙂

There hasn’t been a quote of the day in quite awhile… so, I thought it was time for some more.Â
This morning Lizzie was with Matheau while he was getting ready to go to the office. She asked him, “Dad, what’s that?” He responded, “my belt.”Â
“No,” she said, “what is your belt on?”
“Oh, my belt loop.”
“Niiicccce” she replied.Â

Hannah whipped up  a quick and easy batch of  clay last night.
1 c. flour
1/3 salt
1/3 water
food coloring.
Mix it together and knead for roughly 5 minutes. Now you can have a couple hours of fun.
We celebrated Luke’s 8th birthday today. This morning I woke up thinking about how my day started 8 years ago. Contractions, packing bags, calling parents and Matheau driving me to the hospital. Today started with blueberry waffles (much easier than labor). After breakfast I think the day just got better, family, Justice League cartoons, lots of good food, a Nerf gun war at Redlogic, mini cheesecakes and white butter cake with a vanilla bean frosting. Â A Luke-kind-of-day.
