A beautiful afternoon.

The weather today was lovely. I wish it was like this year round. The kids are all reaching new milestones. Luke can now pump his legs and swing himself, and jump super far! Alli rides her bicycle with training wheels like a pro. Doesn’t need help starting or stopping any more. Hannah now rides over and off the landscape timbers and is getting pretty close to jumping it. And Elizabeth, she now will bring me a book and plop down in my lap. With each kiddo, that has been a highlight for me.

A photo from our fall family photo shoot.

I wish I could take the credit for this one. But Matheau took this last
Thursday. I love it.

Well, I should really say

conversation.

Hannah and Melissa, her piano teacher, were talking about which new book Hannah should begin. Melissa gave Hannah a choice of older hymns, or really old hymns. 🙂 Hannah’s response was, “I really like that Mullin’s guy. So I will take the really old hymns.”

For those of you who don’t know who “that Mullin’s guy” is, he is who wrote “Awesome God” and many other great songs not too long ago. I would guess within the last 16-17 years.

Some dirt…

I thought I would post some of the paper layouts I have done more recently. When I say “paper” I mean not digitally and with real paper and scissors and glue… The ribbons are straight in real life. I sewed along the brown ribbon to anchor it done. I love using my sewing machine on my scrapbook pages. That and my X-ACTO knife are my favorites.

This morning.

Today has been a tough day for Liz. She has hit her head at least four times today. One band-aid and at least one other ouch to prove it. Tomorrow we are hoping to take our family photos. Typical isn’t it. 😉

Luke decided to give her a ride in the John Deere to help her feel better.

Last Friday…

We made a trip to the pumpkin patch in Louisburg. I made the mistake of not calling ahead in advance. Here are some of the photos from the day. There are not a lot with the pumpkins. But I love the ones with Matheau and the kids.
