First week of the new year.
Our first week of the new year has been a good one. Time with friends and family. Time for adventure (mostly on foot) and time for Matheau and the kids to spend conquering Lego Star Wars on the Wii.
Today the temperature was in the 60’s, so much better then just above freezing.

And did I mention time for me to finish up Christmas gifts? Very late Christmas gifts. Also a chance to work on some gifts for babies soon to arrive.

The bonnet is a pattern from “Last-Minute Knitted Gifts”by Joelle Hoverson.
Bag and bibs are from “Bend-the-Rules Sewing” by Amy Karol. I adjusted the measurements of the bag and added extra pockets to the lining. Otherwise pretty close to the book’s pattern.
The fun tag is a freebie from Camilla Engman. She has a set from 2006 and 2007 that you can download and print.
