The yarn arrived Friday. I finished Matheau’s hat Friday evening. He likes it, I like it, and I am so glad. I could have done a happy dance when I took it off the needles.  I ended up using Mission Falls wool on size 6 circular needles. I loved the yarn-I will be using more of it in the future.   Wednesday Matheau spoke at a Valentine’s Banquet. Mrs. Wheeler brought chocolate covered “oreo balls”. She gave me the recipe and I made some Thursday evening. I covered them in melted white chocolate chips instead  of the semi-sweet chips. They are filled with oreos and cream cheese. Recipe:8 oz. soft cream cheese mixed with 1 bag of crushed oreos. Form into balls and refrigerate for 1 hour. Melt the chocolate chips, roll the balls in the melted chocolate. Refrigerate. :)Â

The hat looks great! 🙂
Oreo balls: delicious, I’ve had them rolled in almond bark instead of the chips.
Don’t know if you look back on last months journaling, but I paid a visit and left a note. Thought of this as I was looking last month and didn’t write. Food for thought. I wouldn’t mind having a pair of hand warmers for my birthday.
Oh… the hat is simply Maaaaarvelous, Daaaarling.
Love it!!! Thank you!
XOXOXO
Thanks. 🙂
